Media Crooks and Gujarat election

Media Crooks goes for Jugular of those in medias specially in English TV media. he has focused on NDTV and CNN IBN, widely watched channels in drawing rooms of the English understanding population also who happen to be decision maker for the nation.
After watching for some time the bias in their narrative become so clear. digging deeper in their history one come to know the nauseating background. The feeling was building up for long and there was sporadic expression too but not so effective. and then came Media crook, Handle for Somebody called Ravinar. dont know much about him but his writting tells a lot about him.
he is so well read. does research before putting it in words. articulated thoughts in nice way. Now a days when poetry is taking form of prose. here is regular prose appearing which is touching the poetic realm.

This time he has again gone for Barkha and Sagarika, for their out of tune narration of Gujarat. It is very clear that these two ladies must be watching what media crook says. It is seen that when Media crook started saying about Nidhi Rajdan of NDTV she stopped using "bigger" and "larger" in her Left right and center, much to the informed watchers of the program.

The recent one has been
http://www.mediacrooks.com/

there he uses the image of story we read in astrix comics.
below is my response

These TC will beg the day BJP spokepersons stop sitting in front of their camera. Modi has shown that. he uses the wisely. Barkha cannot step near. Rajdeep is shown his position. Shahid could go near only to burn his hands. Gadkari could not get that. He thought sitting in front of Shreenivasan will explain him. it did not improve the matter.
As per Dharma of ruler, after setting his own state in order he is supposed to go on victory march. something like Rajasooya Yajna. it become imperative of Modi to take this march.

FDI in retail and Voting

Editorial in The New Indian Express. http://newindianexpress.com/prabhu_chawla/columns/article1372063.ece

Good analysis of FDI debate in Parliament, in which Govt won the vote and opposition the debate. this was my repose to the editorial. this is another enlightening way to looks at the situation.

.....The Congress could win in 2004 because of the sheer arrogance of a few BJP leaders who treated NDA allies like political plague. It won both the 2004 and 2009 elections because its leadership had mastered the art of coalition and could accommodate even its fiercest rivals......

politics is about making things happen. ideology cannot be substitute for efficiency. NDA had got mandate.n they wasted it. could not understand the undercurrent. same thing had happened in UP, same happened in Karnataka. only aberration was in Gujarat. Modi held on. what looked impossible was made possible. Shivaraj Singh is proving himself. Raman Singh is experimenting. but they will have to hold on to prove. otherwise the experiment will remain half way. ideology will find some other vehicle. may be time will be lost.

Article and response

Sometimes response to the article are more informative than the article itself. One of the reason for this may be due to multiple source it gets balanced unlike the author of the article who is mostly biased most of the times. of course one has to have mental filter which ignores undesired materials. This phenomena is gets more clarity while going through TOI.

There was an article on Patel factor on Gujrat election.

I was illuminated by the response about the Kurian's arrival in Gujrat.

Great patel leader of Gujrat ( I forgot the name) brought Dr. Kurian from Kerala to head Amul. In a public meeting in Kerala Dr. Kurian asked gathering whether in Kerala this type of decision is possible? gathering was answer less. That is why Gujarat and Amul is a success story.

to this there was response

His name was Tribhovandas Patel. On a suggestion by then Andhra government to start the dairy in AP, Mr. Kurian replied, AP might have every thing but not Tribhovandas Patel.

Predicting Monsoon

Sandhya Jain highlighted in The Pioneer that Bharateeya Meteorology has to be based on local calender rather than European calender, as it can predict Monsoon better. Agriculture is backbone of Bharat and it is dependent on monsoon so it is better to change
this is another article which mentions CK Raju, who played a key role in building India’s first supercomputer, Param, and received the Telesio-Galilei Academy of Science’s gold medal for 2010 for discovering and correcting a mistake made by Albert Einstein. I dont say that one who has got this so called award must be tru in his analysis but if concerned people feel that there is some value in such proposal a study should be conducted to evaluate the proposal.

Tribal agitation

there was very few news of tribal marching to Delhi. it is not that media did not know it.
one lakh people marching is not a small news. but it was ignored. they could not ignore it completely for posterity so it was mentioned in passing. it is like waiting for the water level to rise above head. it is like ostrich behaviour.
then I hears that the march has started from Gwalior, MP on 2nd October
Next came news that the march reached Agra and there is consultation between leaders of the group and emissary of government. and then came news that the march will go back. What a insipid end, that too on assurance of government who cannot be believed for its word even infront of the supreme court. everyday reversing the previous stand.
Then i came across the chauthiduniya interview. of P V Rajgopal. Chauthidunia does very good interviews. Looks like their resources are limited.
The clarity of thought of Rajgoapal was amazing. he has traveled 80000 KM. there is little more about him on  wikipedia.
I asked Mr Manish of Chauthi dunia on twitter. there was no reply. he is not obliged to.
Governmnet is getting flanks from all sides. In parliament BJP is giving. on street Kejriwal is giving. in business foreign investors are giving. at home Vadra is giving. now this another problem. Government is takes a step of not reacting to the issue. but this is procrastination and cannot be policy.

Varsha Bhosale: Missing Somebody with out Knowing

I was reading an article in Niticentral by Rajeev Srinivasan "congress-says-toilets-better-than-temples". At the outset one can easily say that it was more than a general outrage over the issue. I could understand the background of the feeling. Today I read anther article by the same author at rediff site. varsha-bhosle-was-a-fearless-warrior.
i heard about suicide news of Varsha Bhosale in Twitter. may be from Vijay of @centerofright. He mentioned that she was a right wing columnist. I had not heard of her. I dont claim to know all columnist, but lately i have been following few of them and trying to know bit about their style and if possible also about them. and she was not in those list. If she was one of those how did i miss her.
Then I came across one of her articles on Gujarat Riot. from there i came to know that what stuff she had.
only one picture is going round in press that is with her mother Asha Bhosale. I had read that Asha Bhosale was going for a receiving an award in Singapore. She was there when it happened.
somewhere it was also told that she was very disturbed. it seems she attempted to suicide earlier too. it seems she had annulled her marriage. also there were links that she was engaged to somebody of other religion too. one person who appeared very close to her is columnist at rediff Dilip D'Souza. is he the person? dont know. it seems she trusted him most even during his last days. He wrote a fitting tribute in rediff. dear-varsha-im-so-damned-sad.
i also came to know that she stopped writing in 2003. nobody seems to say why? but looks like it had much to do with some personal. that explained why i did not get to hear much about her.
I think i miss someone, whom i did not know but getting to know when she is no more. Wishing her peace where ever she is.

This response was for interview of Tunku Varadrajan by Madhu in News laundry. in that he had told the reaction of Bharatiya is unrestrained. it was in context of Hindu `Muslim relation Bharatiya society reacts to how its perceives its enemy. many they think the enemy is the next door person. that is considered unrestrained according to Mr Tunku. he gives example of American society's reaction to 9/11. they too perceived their enemy sitting in Iraq and Afghanistan. they plunged those countries in war. In USA most of the activities of it citizen and foreigners are closely monitored when under suspicion. that does not allow next door person to conspire against you for long. so reaction is basically same.
